Lahore: Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) Leader Dr. Tahirul Qadri on Sunday refuted the claims of PPP Leader Nabeel Gabol alleging that Qadri begged PML-Q Leader Chaudhry Shujaat to give him a safe passage to end the long march.
Speaking to Dunya News yesterday, Gabol said that at the time of Magrib prayers, when a break was taken during negotiations, Qadri, behind the curtain in the container asked Shujaat to help him in peacefully ending the long march, as the marchers were not ready to stay more due to heavy rain in the capital city of Pakistan.
Speaking on Dunya News program, On The Front, the PAT leader refuted the claims and said that there was no reality in the Gabol’s statement and he don’t want to reply to the question of such an absurd person.
The Islamic scholar further challenged that if the video proved true, his opponents would be allowed to slit his head but if it proved wrong the head of almost 10 men who were involved in this blame should be slotted.
“If I had begged for the safe passage than I would have visited Prime Minister’s house but instead, the negotiators met me at the site of long march and the agreement was made in front of millions of people,” he said.
The PAT leader further added that if Nabeel had something to show to people then he also had something to show people regarding him.
