Islamabad: Two passports of Tauqeer Sadiq, the former chairman of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), have been cancelled by the Pakistani government, a report said.
A private news television Geo News quoting its sources said that the passports were cancelled by the interior ministry over the request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
“The NAB’s team is currently present in Abu Dhabi to arrest Tauqeer Sadiq where the legal formalities are being completed,” the television reports.
It is said that Sadiq is bound in the state by the Interpol and he would be handed over the NAB team after the completion of legal formalities.
