Karachi: The prime suspect in Shahzeb Murder case, Shahrukh Jatoi, has arrived Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, after being deported from Dubai, here on Thursday.
The accused was brought back to the country in Etihad Airways flight, having number EY 221. SSP Niaz Khoso along with other diplomatic officials were also accompanying the main accused.
According to police sources, security has been put on high alert in the vicinity of Jinnah International Airport, in order to avoid any mishap.
Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) was also summoned at the spot in order to provide complete security to the accused, who was brought back in the country after Supreme Court of Pakistan took suo moto notice of the Shahzeb murder case amid protests across Karachi and other parts of the country.
The police will shift Jatoi to an undisclosed location and would interogate him regarding the murder of the 20-year old son of DSP Aurangzeb Khan.
Meanwhile, the police officials have said that Jatoi would be presented before an anti-Terrorism court on Thursday.
Earlier, the accused surrendered himself at the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai on Monday.
It is to be mentioned here that Shahrukh allegedly killed Shahzeb over a petty issue on December 25 in Karachi’s posh Defence area.
Police arrested Siraj Talpur, another accused in the case, earlier this week.
