Kabul: An aircraft of Pakistan International Airline escaped attacked on Tuesday when several rockets were fired near Kandahar Airport.
The plane with 42 passengers on-board was ready to fly to Quetta from Kandahar airport when about 10 rockets were reportedly fired at a close range.
Luckily, no loss of life or damage to the plane was reported in the incident.
Sources said that the airfield was closed following the attack, adding that the flight would depart after the situation is under control.
