Shikarpur: A deadly measles outbreak in Sindh took lives of four more children in Shikarpur district as toll reaches 312 in the province.
According to reports, over 24 children lost their lives due to the measles virus in the last one week.
At least 122 children have died of measles in Kandhkot – the most affected district of interior Sindh.
In Sukkur, 69 children have died while the disease claimed 35 lives in Khairpur.
The health ministry said that the vaccination process will be completed by January 11.
Meanwhile, the measles epidemic has also affected sixteen children in Sibi, a district of Balochistan.
