London: Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard’s agent on Friday denied suggestions that the player is set for an end-of-season exit from the European champions.
Steve Kutner was on Thursday quoted as saying by an Italian website that “the only thing that is certain is that his (Lampard’s) team will change at the end of the season”, with a move to a Serie A outfit “more than just a possibility”.
But the agent told BBC radio on Friday that he “hasn’t spoken to anybody about Lampard’s future and hasn’t given any interview about it”.
Lampard’s contract with the west London club is due to expire at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old has yet to agree a new deal, amid reported interest in his services from English Premier League strugglers QPR, Los Angeles Galaxy and China’s Guizhou Renhe.
