Doha: After beating Oman and China in their first two matches, Pakistan drew their third match 3-3 against Malaysia on Sunday (December 23) in 2012 Asian’s Men Hockey Champions Trophy.
Waqas Sharif scored two and Mohammad Rizwan (senior) scored one goal for Pakistan.
A total of three matches were played on Sunday. In the first match China beat Japan 40-2 and in the second, India trounced minnows Oman 11-0.
Six teams are taking part in the tournament: Pakistan, India, Oman, China, Malaysia and Japan.
The tournament features eighteen matches, with final and the position matches to be played on December 27.
Pakistan will play their next match against India on December 24.
