Islamabad: The fifteenth International Multi Topic Conference (INMIC), organised by Riphah International University in collaboration with Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), concluded on Friday in Islamabad.
The conference was aimed at providing an opportunity to national and international researchers and practitioners to present the state of the art, state of the practice and the future directions on the multiple topics.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Qamar Zaman Karia was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the conference in Islamabad.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of the conference the Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad thanked the keynote speakers and participants of the conference for taking part in the deliberations and making useful suggestions to achieve the targets of the conference. He lauded the efforts of faculty members and management for successfully organizing the conference. He hoped that the recommendations and suggestions made at the conference will help in formulating strategy to promote information technology in the country.
Mr. Wahaj-us-Siraj, Chief Executive Officer of Micronet Broadband (PVT) Ltd, who was The Guest of the honor at the concluding ceremony, commended the efforts of the Riphah International University in organizing the 15th International Multi Topic Conference successfully and impressively. He said the event provided and opportunity for national and international researchers to present their valuable papers giving future directions on the multiple topics including information security, bio-medical technology and high performance computing.
The Secretary of the conference Dr. Saad Naeem Zafar, Dean Faculty of Computing of Riphah International University, highlighted the aims and objectives of the conference. He said Riphah will continue to make efforts in developing the research culture through organizing such conferences, seminars and workshops.
A number of keynote speakers from home and abroad participated in the deliberations at the conference they presented papers on various subjects including Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Biomedical Technology, High Performance Computing and Cloud Computing.
