New York: Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S3 has already started to receive its first taste of Jelly Bean, in the form of an update to Android 4.1. But you have to wait till Friday, December 21 if you have a Galaxy S3 bought from US Cellular.
The software update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available from Friday, December 21 where it will be offered in an over-the-air and USB manner.
Starting Friday, those with the U.S. Cellular smartphone can visit here, where they will find information that explains the process. As is the case with all other Android 4.1 updates of its kind, the Galaxy S3 will benefit from Google Now, richer notifications, as well as smarter keyboard, speech-to-text, and widgets.
