Quetta: Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan has announced to end its strike in the province.
PMA Balochistan President Sultan Tareen said that doctors would return to their duties and OPDs of and other wards of the hospitals would be opened on Friday.
On the other hand provincial health secretary Asmatullah Kakar said that all cases against the doctors would be withdrawn soon.
PMA strike lasted for 58 days which was started when Dr. Saeed Khan, eye specialist LRBT, was kidnapped by unknown armed men. Dr. Saeed was later released after payment of ransom.
