Sargodha: The research and educational activities of Sargodha University are of international level while facilities such as library, computer department and other blocks are providing outstanding services.
These were the views of Caryn Anderson, information resources officer of US consulate while leading a team of delegates during a visit to the varsity recently.
Anderson hailed experimentation of Stevia as a replacement of sugar, and UOS mineral water namely ‘Khusah Aab’ and other health facilities at the campus. She also commended the discipline and scientific facilities at the campus.
Earlier, Vice Chancellor Sargodha University, Professor Muhammad Akram Chaudhry apprised the delegation on the vision, achieved targets and social and economical importance of location of the campus. “Students, both males and females, have been provided the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities”, he said.
On the occasion, the consulate officer presented informatory booklets to the VC.
The delegation included officer Cultural Affairs, Emila Adams, Directors Information Resource Centre Islamabad, Afshan Amer, and Lahore, Muhammad Asif.
Sargodha University is considered one of the most prominent educational institutions of the country. It has brought forward many brilliant students in a very short span of time.
