Islamabad: Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs Khurshid Shah on Friday lashed out at Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari for stating that almost Rs8 billion corruption was reported in the country on daily basis.
Talking to Geo News anchor Hamid Mir, the minister said that the chairman NAB was an irresponsible person as he had given a careless statement claiming that the country was facing corruption of Rs8 million on daily basis.
“Chairman NAB has set a worst example of forging facts,” he added.
The minister further said that the government had no plan to extend its tenure adding that the PPP government would wrap up the government some 15 to 20 days before.
“We will not add even an hour more to our tenure,” he said.
“Our policy is clear, the PPP government will be concluded on March 16,” he added.
