Tokyo: The manufacturers of Japan have their eyes on the ongoing parliamentary election in the country as they wish that a new regime will ‘weaken the yen to encourage economic competitiveness’.
Country’s economic experts believe that weakening of the currency will help improve competitiveness.
It is being expected from the new lower house regime to pursue policies that will bolster Japanese economy. Sources said the conservative Liberal Democratic Party hopes to win considerable majority in the parliamentary election on December 16.
