London: Commenced with the aim of provide round the clock news to Pakistan and Pakistanis, Largest Independent and bilingual news website The News Tribe (TNT) decides to expand its social news network.
Considered to be largest bilingual (providing news in English and Urdu) news website across United Kingdom, United States, Middle East and Pakistan, TNT has developed a separate Facebook page for readers of Urdu news and blogs.
According to TNT editor Shahid Abbasi, the decision of starting page for Urdu service aims at providing latest news, blogs, interviews and articles in an articulated way.
Abbasi made his decision logical saying Facebook had over 7 million users from Pakistan, an important South Asian country with a population over 180 million, and most of them could read and understand Urdu.
TNT has been pioneering Web journalism in Pakistan by prolifically using social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg, Google+ and Pinterest. It has already separated its Twitter account for Urdu service.
TNT is also running separate pages on Facebook for America, Sports and Technology updating “Its Tribe” with latest news.
