California: British born Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has shown disappointment over Pakistan government response regarding his offer to train Pakistanis.
Khan was giving interview to Dunya News, a local news channel, in which he said that he offered to train and coach youngsters voluntarily.
“It seems nobody took it serious,” said Khan.
He said that he became youngest medalist after getting Olympic medal in the age of 17. “I wish Pakistan could win Gold medal in Olympics,” Khan added.
He further said that government should encourage and support young players and facilitate them.
His father also criticised the government saying “We offered them to send Pakistani youngsters for boxing training and we will bear all their expenses but nobody showed interest”.
