New Delhi: Ministry of Interior India said on Thursday that it would issue visas to 3000 Pakistani spectators who want to enjoy the exciting cricket series between Pakistan and India, to be played on Indian grounds from December 25.
Sources said it was the first time in history of both countries that such a large number of Pakistanis would get Indian visa.
Since 2007 it is first time for Pakistan cricket team to visit India. The team will reach India on December 22 for a series of three one day international (ODI) and two Twenty20 (T20) matches.
The 1st T20 will be played on December 25 at Bengaluru, 2nd T20 on 27th at Ahmedabad, 1st ODI on 30th at Chennai, 2nd on Jan 3 at Kolkata, 3rd on Jan 6 at Delhi, the BCCI announced in an official release earlier.
