Karachi: The Sindh Rangers are expected to conduct a covert operation “Three Star Night” against militants in different parts of Karachi to avoid any act of terrorism during Muharram.
Till now the concerned authorities have kept all the information regarding this operation confidential.
According to a report, President Asif Asif Ali Zardari has discussed the law and order situation the city with top political and military leadership. “It has been decided that the the Rangers powers will be enhanced and the help of army intelligence will also be sought,” Pakistan leading Urdu language daily Jang reports.
“A security plan for Moharram will also be kept secret,” the report added.
