Islamabad: Chairman of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that President Asif Ali Zardari defended and took side of Pakistan Army after the Abottabad operation.
Speaking at a program organized at the federal capital, he said that it has been proved in the Asghar Khan case that the mandate of PPP was sabotaged, adding that that PPP always gave rise to reconciliation despite differences.
According to the chairman of PPP, Mala Yousufzai was not a terrorist but a patriotic citizen. He also said that Pakistan is against drone attacks as these are against the international law. He demanded the United States to immediately halt drone strikes.
Bilawal said that Pakistan is in a state of war and there cannot be two views on this, adding that involvement of Taliban has been proven in Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.
