Although Mitt Romney and president Barack Obama didn’t left any stone unturned and enjoyed every bit of their campaign, it’s nothing compared to what some Californian school kids did.
According to Space, kids from a Californian school launched bobble heads of the two candidates into the stratosphere aboard a high-altitude balloon.
“We estimate that the balloon reached 120,000 [feet],” Earth to Sky Calculus, a group of middle- and high-schoolers wrote on Facebook Wednesday. “It was a crystal clear, gorgeous fall day in the western United States!”
Onboard cameras documented the whole voyage. It was seen that a moment they are peacefully flying above the Californian land and then bobbing furiously the next.
Earth to Sky Calculus eventually tracked down the fallen balloon and recovered its payload, group members said on Facebook.
