Karachi: Government of Sindh has expedited efforts for 8000 new appointments in education department before care taker setup.
Sindh Government has forwarded requisition of 1878 appointments to Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC). Communications with several educational institutes are going on to conduct test for remaining approximately 6000 vacancies.
According to Daily Ummat, Government of Sindh has decided to expedite appointments in other provincial departments as well.
SPSC will ask for applications through news paper advertisement in next two to three days. Afterwards shortlisted candidates will be called for written and oral test.
Sources said that it was not certain that all procedures and appointments would be completed before care taker setup but Sindh government is intended to complete this within its tenure.
“Further more beside these vacancies a program has been scheduled for 17000 more new vacancies in which teachers from grade 5 to 16, PST, JST and other staff are included” source added.
Sources also told that written and oral test will be conducted through credible third party institute. For this, names of IQRA, IBA and some other institutes are under consideration and final decision will be made shortly.
