Islamabad: President CNG Association Ghayyas Paracha Thursday refused to sell out CNG on new prices and said that they would to sold out gas at old rates until any new notification was received.
As per directions from Supreme Court, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has decreased the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs 30.90 per Kilogramme.
Talking to media, Paracha said that an urgent meeting was called in order to devise strategy regarding the decision.
“Petroleum ministry has directed to close all CNG stations,” he said adding that the stations would not be opened until operational cost and new formula for the prices would be declared.
“It is decided that the petroleum prices will be lowered from November 1,” he further added.
Meanwhile, quarrels between costumers and the station employees are reported across Pakistan as people are demanding decrease in the prices while the owners are saying that he have not received any notification.
