Islamabad: Pakistan finance ministry on Sunday approved hike in the prices of all the petroleum products except the petrol under the weekly revision.
Sources said that after the approval of the summery sent by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the petrol price would be reduced by Rs2.09 per litre hike while the price of diesel will go up by Rs3.16 per litre.
The prices of kerosene have been increased by Rs1.92 and light diesel by Rs1.23 per litre.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price is also expected to be decreased by Rs1.50 to Rs2.00 per kilo, as its price is correlated with that of petrol.
The new prices will be effective from tomorrow.
