Islamabad: Former Law Minister Babar Awan has once again sought unconditional apology to the Supreme Court Pakistan during contempt of court case against him.
The SC had taken suo motu action over a press conference in which Babar Awan allegedly ridiculed the apex court.
A two-judge bench, comprising Justice Ijaz Afzal, Justice Athar Saeed had been hearing the case until the last hearing. On Thursday, Justice Ijaz Chaudhry replaced Justice Athar Saeed and the court adjourned the hearing for indefinite period as Justice Chaudhry sought time to study the case.
Speaking to media outside the court, Awan said that s citizens’ lives were cheaper than Australian sick sheep in Karachi. He said that 3000 people were killed in Karachi during the last two years.
