Islamabad: Under the weekly mechanism to review the prices of fuel, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Sunday announced new prices of different fuel products, reducing Rs4.65 per litre on Petrol and Rs 4.27 a kilogram on CNG while increasing the rate of diesel by Rs3.39 per litre.
According to the notification issued by OGRA, the new prices would take effect from September 10 (Monday 12:00 am).
It said the prices of petrol has been slashed by Rs4.65 per litre to Rs 99.90; while the rates of diesel increased by Rs3.39 a litre to Rs 115.52; HOBC up Rs3.27 to Rs136.46 and; the rate of kerosene oil advanced by paisas 85 a litre to Rs 104.06.
Revision of prices for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) have also been notified according to which the commodity’s rate has been brought down by Rs 4.27 per kilogram to Rs 91.45 in Region-1 (Potohar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan) and Rs 3.89 per kilo to Rs83.55 in Region-2 (Punjab excluding Potohar and Sindh).
