Islamabad: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) is likely to reduce the prices of petrol and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs4.65 and Rs4 respectively.
The new prices will be implemented from September 10, 2012.
High-Speed Diesel and Light Diesel Oil are to be increased by Rs3.39 and Rs1.40 respectively. The prices of high octane and Kerosene oil will be increased by Rs3.27 and Rs1.85.
On September 1, the prices of petroleum products were increased, with petrol and CNG increasing by Rs8.18 and Rs7.11 respectively.
By implementing the new prices, the previous hikes in both the fuels would be reduced by over 56 per cent each.
