Peshawar: At least 11 people were killed and 11 others injured after a car blast occurred in Matni Market located in Peshawar, Pakistan’s city of Khyber Pakhtunkhua, police said.
According to the police, the explosion took place near a double cabin vehicle parked outside the market.
Rescue and police teams reached the spot and the injured were shifted to local hospitals.
Almost 30 to 40 kilograms of explosives were used in the bomb while mortars were also discovered from the site of the blast.
