Hyderabad: India made 307 runs in its first innings of 1st test match against New Zealand at Hyderabad.
Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bat first. India’s middle order batsman CA Pujara with the brilliant knock remained unbeaten 119 while middle order batsman Virat Kohli with 58 took the score to 307 runs.
At the end of day one, India’s CA Pujara was bating on 119 with skipper MS Dhoni on 29 on the crease.
New Zealand’s TA Boult took 2 wickets for 63 runs.
Fall of wickets: 1-49 (Gambhir, 9.6 ov), 2-77 (Sehwag, 14.3 ov), 3-125 (Tendulkar, 34.5 ov), 4-250 (Kohli, 68.1 ov), 5-260 (Raina, 72.4 ov).
