Tokyo: Yokohama, Japan is the new world record holder of world’s largest ukulele ensemble.
They made this record recently with the help of 2134 people playing a song on their ukuleles, guitar like instrument.
“Aloha Mahalo a Hui Ho” was the song played by the people. This song is written by Konishiki, former sumo wrestler.
Konishiki also joined the event and was counted as one of the participants. The record attempt was a part of Ukulele Picnic Week, which also featured hula dancing.
The previous record owner of the world’s largest ukulele ensemble was Helsingborg, Sweden. They made that record last year with 1547 participants.
