Gold Coast: Pakistan Under-19 cricket team on Tuesday defeated Australia by 7 wickets in second ODI of the three match Youth Series, taking unbeatable lead 2-0.
Pakistan won the toss and put Aussies into bat. Australia were not looking good against the Pakistani bowlers and were all out for 139 runs in 44th over. Cameron Bancroft and Travis Head were only two Australians who showed little resistance with 47 and 43 runs respectively.
Pakistan’s Zia-ul-Haq was the leading wicket taker with 3 wickets for just 20 runs while Mohammad Nawaz took 2 wickets.
Replying to this, Pakistan batted well and achieved the target for lost of 3 wickets. Saad Ali made 36 not out followed by Imam-ul-Haq who scored 30 runs not out.
