Rawalpindi: The Pakistan army on Sunday refute Afghan officials claim that more than 300 rockets were fired from Pakistani side into Afghanistan, killing several innocent Afghans.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the Pakistan army official said that the Afghan claim is based on false figures and almost all attacks were conducted against the militants having safe heavens inside Afghanistan.
“Almost 15 attacks were carried out by militants from Afghanistan on the civilians and army check-posts,” he said adding that at least 100 civilians and soldiers were killed in the attacks.
The Deputy Afghan foreign minister on Sunday summoned Pakistan ambassador to Afghanistan and protest over the killings of Afghans in the cross border attacks by Pakistan Army.
On the other hand, the Pakistani foreign ministry has said that both countries would resolve all difference among them through negotiations.
