Karachi: A workshop on “Know your dream career” was held at the University of Karachi by the RahShown trainings and Dean of faculty of Islamic Studies today.
Shehzad Qamar, lead trainer from the RahShown trainers, conducted the whole workshop with various sessions and activities.
Prof. Dr. Shakil Auj, Dean of Faculty of Islamic Studies, stressed the need of such career counseling workshops, seminars or events. And he also appreciated the efforts of the organizers.
This workshop was organized by “compass for success”, a student body of department of Islamic Studies.
Shehzad Qamar started the workshop by introducing eight categories of people. He then suggested everyone to select a category for themselves.
Mr. Qamar advised,” Use your talent in a way that is different from others” and he gave a formula for that as well, “employ three H formula i.e. head, heart and hand”
He suggested the participants of the workshop to choose their own path and believe in themselves.
He provoked students to not allow the influence of others on their careers. He strictly prohibited students from following the wishes of others when it comes to career.
The workshop had certain other activities for the participants as well which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and chief guest, Prof. Dr. Shakil Auj.
In the end, the shields were given to Shehzad Qamar and Prof. Dr. Shakil Auj. And all the participants received the certificate of participation.
