Islamabad: Outgoing US ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter on Tuesday held a farewell meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, said presidential spokesman.
Munter thanked the present for governments cooperation with him during discharge of his duties in Islamabad as an ambassador.
The president applauded the outgoing ambassador for his efforts to strengthen Pak-US dialogue and to resume Strategic dialogue.
President Zardari expressed best wishes for Mr Cameron Munter, the spokesman added.
