Quetta: Coal miners in Balochistan continued to strike on second day against killing and kidnappings.
The president of National Labour Federation on Sunday announced a strike for indefinite period. He said the coal miners were particularly perturbed after the killing of seven miners and kidnapping of eight others.
He said the strike would remain continue till the provision of foolproof security to the minors in the province.
It is pertinent to mention here that there are about 500 coal mines where around 40,000 labourers work round the clock.
