Apple Computer Inc. was founded by 3 friends name Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, who were not much rich to start their own business, for which they have to took $250000 from Mike Marcela.
But today Apple Inc. is today one of the richest companies, generating $108 billion in 2011. It has more than 60,000 employees, 365 retail stores in different countries. It will be real interesting for one to know how the Apple Computer Inc. changes into Apple Inc. and how its products have become a status symbol for people.
Startup: Apple I, II and III
Apple Inc. starting its history from 1976, when 3 university friends made a computer, named Apple 1. Ronald Wayne sold his shares to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The company was incorporated in 1977. Apple II was first showed to public in April 1977. This new computer was chosen as desktop platform for VisiCalc spreadsheet .in 1980, Apple in traduced its third machine, unfortunate Apple III.
GUI is the Future
In a visit to PARC, Apple realized that the coming age will be of GUI and thus they started working on it. In 1983, Apple introduces Lisa computers but the idea was not much successful for its limited software and high price. The Macintosh debut was done in 1984 which proved to be successful initially but later its sales also dropped.
Steve Jobs Left for Next Inc.
In 1985, a power struggle began between Steve Jobs and Company’s CEO, John Sculley. Jobs was forced to resign and he opened his own company, NEXT Inc.
Macintosh and other Apple Products
In 1989 Apple introduce Macintosh portable, followed with Power book in 1991. This period (1989-1991) is known as first golden time of Apple. In 1994, Apple allied with IBM and Motorola in the AIM alliance. The goal was to create a new computing platform (the PowerPC Reference Platform), which would use IBM and Motorola hardware coupled with Apple’s software. The same year, Apple introduced the Power Macintosh, the first of many Apple computers to use IBM’s PowerPC processor.
Jobs Return
In 1996, the new Apple CEO Gill Amelio decided to purchase neXT and NeXTSTEP so he could improved the Mac OS. Steve Jobs was also back as Adviser. In July 1997, Amelio was forced to resign as the company was going in lose. Steve Jobs was made the CEO again and he started to reconstruct the company.
Apple’s iOS
In 1998, Apple introduced Macintosh 128k.in this period, Apple also bought many companies and made a portfolio of professionals.
In 2001, Apple introduced their Mac OS x. This new operating system was better than the previous one. Apple also opened their stores in Virginia; California; USA.
iPod and other products
In the same year IPod portable digital audio player was introduced. In 2006 Apple transited their computers to Intel chips. The Power Mac, iBook, and PowerBook brands were retired during the transition; the Mac Pro, MacBook, and MacBook became their respective successors.
iPad, Smartphone and so forth
From 2007, Apple started working on consumer electronics. It changed its name to Apple Incorporation from Apple Computer Incorporation. With the touch screen technology, Apple introduced Its Tablet and Smart phones in the years 2007-onwards. Its every new product is and was filled up of new ideas and thoughts.
iPhone
The most popular of the consumer’s electronics are iPhones. They were first introduced to people in the Macworld Conference & Expo in January 2007. The iPhone features a 3.5-inch touch screen display, 4, 8, or 16 GB of memory, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The newest of them is iPhone 4s which was released in October, 2011. The new Apple’s smart phone have a 8MP, 1080 HD video and powerful processor with speed of 1 GHz with an Apple A5 chip in it.

iPod Review
Apple another famous and widely used product is the iPod. This line is the most oldest of the Apple’s consumer electronics. It was very first introduced in 2001. The latest version of it is iPod touch which was released in January 2010. The iPod touch is having an Apple software, iTunes in it which enables the user to transfer music files from Windows or Macintosh computers to his iPod.
iPad Review
An apple’s product which is slowly taking place of laptop and desktop computers is the iPad. The iPad is a tablet with high resolution and a touch screen GUI. Apple introduced them for the first time in 2010. The most recent of them is iPad 3 which was released in March 2012. The iPad is having a5 megapixels and 1080 HD camera, powerful processor, larger memory and fast speed. The experts talk about it by saying that it is a future machine which only has threat from his competitors for its price. But now apple have found a solution for the Price, and they will hopefully releasing their iPad mini, in March 2013.
Other Products
Another important work of Apple Incorporation are the microprocessor chips, they installed in their products. Other than this, the iOS and software such as Siri, iBook, iTunes, iMessage etc. are things which the user enjoys without knowing them but indeed, these are the things which are making run the Apple’s product.
The Apple’s administration should be aware of what people want them. They want the Apple to be same productive as it was in Steve Jobs’s times. The Bosses at head office should remember that people loved their products and it is their only company of which products, people stands in hundreds meter long lines to buy.
