Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country, however dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected at isolated places of Rawalpindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours.
A brief spell of light drizzle occured on Thursday evening in isolated parts of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
According to weather department, thunderstorm and rain will hit Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Gujranawala, Lahore, Sargodha, Makran, Sukkar divisions and Kashmir/Gilgit- Baltistan during evening/night. Dust raising winds associated with light rain likely in Sindh-Makran coast during the next 24 hrs.
Seasonal low lies over Northeast Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending east wards. A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.
