Kuala Lumpur: Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 151 runs to reach into the final of Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup on Thursday.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against the Afghans and put 296 runs on board for the loss of 3 wickets. Umar Waheed played not out inning of 77 runs while Sami Aslam also made 77 for the green shirts.
Afghanistan’s Aftab Alam, Sharafudin and Shabir Noori took one wickets each.
Replying to this, inexperienced Afghanistan showed no resistance against Pakistani bowlers and were all out for only 145 runs.
Pakistan’s Azizullah took four while Mohammad Nawazand and Ehsan Adil got two wickets each.
