Peshawar: At least two people were killed when a blast occurred in Rakha Khel area of Khyber Agency of Pakistan north western tribal region bordering Afghanistan, security sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that two members of the peace militia (Aman Lashkar) where targeted in a remotely controlled blast, adding that both the members, riding motorcycle, were died at the spot.
Security forces rushed to the spot and shifted to bodies of the members to Agency Headquarter Hospital, they said.
Pakistani security forces have been battling in the region since 2008 against the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) led militants.
