Cairo: Health of ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, 84, is worsening again, the officials at the military hospital in Cairo where Mubarak is being treated said.
The officials said ever since the announcement of Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Mursi’s victory in the presidential runoff, Mubarak’s health is on the wane.
They said Mubarak is suffering from depression and slipped in and out of consciousness, AP reported.
Mubarak was sentenced to life in prison for failing to stop the killing of nearly 900 protesters during the uprising that ousted him last year. He was moved last week from prison to the military hospital after reportedly suffering a stroke.
