Sharp has released LED flat screen television with 4 feet height and 6 feet 8 inches length (90-inch screen measured diagonally). The company claimed it is world’s largest LED flat screen TV.
The TV, Sharp Aquos LC-90LE745U, weighs 114 pounds and, with a thickness of only five inches. But not everything of its is low, as the TV costs as much as $10,999.99.
Consumer Reports has yet to examine the television in depth, but said, ”Sharp has definitely take the lead in larger TV screen sizes,” ABC News reported.
It said the company’s televisions had traditionally done well in past reviews, despite a history of “relatively narrow viewing angles.”
According to Consumer Reports, “The LC-90LE745U is a full-featured, 3D-capable 1080p LCD set that includes an edge LED backlight, 240Hz anti-blur technology, built-in Wi-Fi, and Sharp’s SmartCentral Internet platform with access to apps, YouTube videos, and CinemaNow, Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Vudu streaming movies and TV shows. The LC-90LE745U also has a full Web browser and can make Skype video calls when used with an optional webcam. The TV uses active-3D technology and comes with two sets of active-3D glasses.”
