Islamabad: Events seemed to be occurring on hourly basis in Pakistan after the disqualification of an elected Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani as Pakistan People’s Party, in order to cope up with the current political crisis, on Wednesday has decided to introduce a post of deputy Prime Minister.
According to sources, the decision has been made in order to tackle the upcoming crisis in which Supreme Court would ask the new elected Prime Minister to write a letter to Swiss Courts for the revival of investigation against President Asif Ali Zardari.
“The decision would be made via a presidential ordinance,” they said.
The sources also said that there were indications that Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi would be the first deputy PM of the country as he is unexpectedly returning from London.
It is to be mentioned here that Ch Pervaiz Elahi was in London for medical treatment and he had to return Pakistan after 2-4 weeks.
