Quetta: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan is facing many challenges including security and terrorism. He said that national security was at forefront of their priorities.
Addressing at Command and Staff College Quetta, he said that Pakistan had made immense sacrifices in term of human lives and finance in war against terror. He added that thousands of Pakistani soldiers had laid down their lives in the war for national and global security.
He said that social economic sector and security were interconnected. “We are strongly integrated to global trade and politics,” he added.
The PM maintained that hike in oil prices affected developing countries like Pakistan. “We have improved the economic situation of the country by taking timely steps.”
He said that all economic indicators are showing improvement.
