Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has directed Pakistan People’s Party’s member of Punjab assembly to maintain parliament norms and not to create any uproar during the budget session.
The PM passed these instructions during meeting with Faryal Talpur, MNA and President PPP Women Wing on Sunday before leaving for Quetta on two days visit.
The PM also directed his party MPA’s to fully participate in the budget session of the province.
It was decided that during the budget speech of Punjab Finance Minister, PPP will not indulge in any rowdiness, unparliamentary, undemocratic and unethical behaviour like the PML (N) during the Federal Budget speech, an official statement said.
The Prime Minister reiterated that PPP would not allow derailment of democracy for which the party and its founding fathers had rendered innumerable sacrifices. “We will not fall into the trap of undemocratic forces,” the PM said.
