Bundanoon, Australia: Two bandits robbed a house in south-eastern Australia on hours after a teenager posted a photo on Facebook, showing a pile of cash.
Police said that the robber, armed with a club and a knife, struck the girl’s mother house on Thursday, but she said her daughter no longer lived there. However, it still remains a mystery how the men got the house’s address.
The bandits searched the house and took a small amount of cash as well as other property before leaving, but injured nobody, AP reported.
The girl had posted a picture on her Facebook page of a “large sum of cash”, police said. She was helping her grandmother in counting the sum at her home in Sydney, 120 kilometres northeast of Bundanoon.
Police have warned Facebook users from sharing their sensitive information on the site after the incident, BBC reported.
