Rawalpindi: At least three dacoits and two policemen including a sub-inspector were killed in a police encounter in Rawalpindi city of Punjab province of Pakistan.
Police said that police raided in Chakri interchange on a tipoff against three dacoits. The dacoits opened fire on the police party, resultantly two policemen Sub-inspector Ghulam Akhtar and constable Husnain were killed and two others were injured.
“Three dacoits, wanted in several criminal cases, were also killed in exchange of fire,” the police said.
