Faisalabad: At least five people were killed when two armed group opened fire on each other on a land dispute in Faisalabad city of Pakistan’s Punjab province, police said on Thursday.
The police said that the incident occurred in jurisdiction of Samundri Police Station when a land conflict between two persons named Ashraf and Mazhar turned violent.
They added that the rival group attacked the local community center Muhammad Ashraf and opened indiscriminate fire on them. Resultantly, Ashraf his son Waheed were died at the spot while two attackers Waseem and Muazzam were also killed in retaliation.
