Islamabad: Striking back to Nawaz Sharif on his strong stance against Peoples Party affiliated prime minister conviction, Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik has alleged Sharif Brothers involving in a massive fraud of $ 32 million.
“We are hoping a fair trial of the judiciary as there is a ‘fair’ and independent judiciary working in the country,” furious Malik said at a press conference.
Equipped with documents of statistics, he said that that was great damage to national exchequer.
“‘Media Should highlight the issue as it is against the country and not anything personal,” he added.
“If judiciary asks us to assist, then we would definitely help it with any hesitation.”
Malik has also indicated forming a commission to probe into $ 32 million illegal transfer outside the country.
Waving documents towards the journalists, he informed that money was transferred to French and Swiss banks.
“National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should take sou-moto action against PML (N) leaders.”
“We would also take the documents to Pakistan’s parliament and NAB.”
“Judiciary should also look into matter of involvement of Sharif Brothers in Mehran Gate Scandal,” the minister said angrily.
“They (Nawaz and Shahbaz) could do anything again to dismantle Pakistan Peoples Party government.”
“We would have already took up the matter, but PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto stopped me to reveal the matter of embezzlement.”
However, he also noted that it was Benazir Bhutto who asked him to undertake the investigations.
Rehman Malik also revealed that ‘his life is danger’.
