Islamabad: Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting minister Qamar Zaman Kaira on Friday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief should not be so emotional and avoid misleading the nation in the name of rule of law.
While speaking at a news conference in Islamabad, Kaira said that the government has right to challenge verdict in appellate court.
He said that his government has great prestige for the courts but they can’t be deprived of their constitutional and legal rights.
While criticizing the political parties, he said that they have nothing to do with the progress and prosperity of the country; rather their mission is only to entangle the country with new crises.
Qaira also criticized the media which was putting them on ‘trial’ without perceiving the very consequences of tactics they are using against the government.
