Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that he was facing no threat from the judiciary.
Speaking to media on Monday he said that his son Ali Musa Gilani had returned to the country and would face inquiry in ephedrine import scam.
“Are you facing any threat from judiciary,” asked a journalist. “No judiciary is my friend I am not facing any threat,” the premier was quoted as saying by TV channels.
Earliet in the day, Gilani said that Pakistan was facing menace of extremism and there was need to strengthen hands of the government.
Speaking at a seminar, the prime minister said Gilani said that his government improved relations with the neighbouring countries including India.
He said that issues of Sir Creek, Siachen were also discussed during his meeting with his Indian counterpart Manmohan Sindh.
