Lima, Peru: Over 90 policemen fell ill after having a chicken soup at Mazuco base, the Peruvian National Police said.
National Police southeast region commander Gen. Hector Dulanto said the cops had fever and vomiting after they had had the soup at their base in Mazuco, located in Tambopata province.
Many of the sick officers were taken to the police health service hospital in Cuzco city, he said, adding the National Police inspector general’s office would probe the matter.
