Karachi: An increase of Rs288 billion was seen in scheduled banks’ deposits in the current fiscal year.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the total value of banks’ deposits at the star of the fiscal year was Rs5.599 trillion, which has increased in the last nine-and-a-half months to Rs5.886 trillion, while banks’ aggregated assets have crossed Rs7.753 trillion.
The value of banks’ total assets is eleven times as compared to all deposits and other debts.
